Ability to Color Code Tasks of the Same Type
The ability to color code tasks in the Tasks page and Dashboard to be of the same color. For example, all tasks labeled "Harvest" would be blue and all the "Plant" tasks would be green. This would make it easier to see how much of a certain task needs to happen in a day/week. Likewise, you could create custom categories of tasks, like "Routine Cleaning" or "Routine Maintenance" to more easily spot those items when they come around and prepare your team to allocate time toward them.

Crop Grow Ranges

However, the software would accept a new order that's too late for the ideal grow time, if there's enough time before harvest to reach the minimum grow time. On the other hand, surplus trays - from canceled orders - could continue to grow in their trays until their max grow time. The user would see this "living surplus" up until the max grow time.

Automatically mark tasks/harvests/orders as complete after a specified period
Marking tasks/harvests/orders as completed can be tedious. We could add a setting that you can adjust, which would just mark tasks as complete automatically after a specified period, like 1 day. So that you don't have to worry about marking everything as complete. Just let the software assume that it's been done.

Track prices, input costs, sales, and profitability
We could add the ability to enter what you charge for crops/blends, and then the software would be able to track historical/present/future sales numbers. And then you could add what it costs you to grow those crops, and the software could calculate profitability of each crop and of each order/harvest/customer.

Use average or moving average yields to calculate tray counts
If you enter the actual yield for each harvest then the software would be able to calculate average expected yield for any given crop. That could be used to calculate tray counts instead of having to change the yield every time your yields change. It could be an option to use historical average, or a moving average, like the average of the last 5 harvests

Have multiple team members on a farm
Right now Microgreen Manager is just for one account per farm. It's high priority to make it to you can create a farm with your account, and then invite others to make an account and join your farm so they can see tasks/orders, update info, mark tasks as complete, etc. AND see who completed what tasks. And more functionality like that
