A new page to show what’s currently growing in the farm, where each set of trays is at, and timelines. This will be a nice heads-up display to see what’s going on in the farm.

Improve onboarding
We need to improve our onboarding experience so that new and existing users understand how to use the software effectively. This would be popups and tooltips to point users in the right direction for how the software works to represent the farm, how orders/plantings/tasks are generated, where buttons are, etc.

Non-seed inventory tracking
Seed lot and inventory tracking is a separate post/feature. This would be for things like soild, trays, containers, labels, etc.

Allow harvest task to be moved forward
There are times when a crop needs extra time. It would be really helpful if we could simply move it to the next day instead of letting it go into “Overdue Tasks”

Ability to add time of day to tasks, esp recurring tasks
It would be great to have the ability to set a time with recurring tasks, for example checking water levels. This would be great for tasks that happen multiple times of the day. Whatever the task may be. Thanks for taking our input.

Ability to have multiple tray sizes
I sell to restaurants and often sell in 10x10 and 5×5 trays. It would be super helpful if when I am creating a new order I could specify which type of trays that client wants their order in. It could also be useful for the “safety margin.” Rather than planting an extra 10x20 tray for a 10% margin, one could plant a 10x10 or 5×5 as needed. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to mark things as “live trays” which would remove the “harvest buffer time” and remove the mandatory “harvest” step.

Tray locations and rack numbers
To ensure max organization, it would be great to add a Rack number and location. So if you have more than one location, you can select it and the specific rack the grow is located at.

This would be your internal lot number system that you determine and put on your packaging. Seed lot tracking is a separate post/feature. For those that are attempting to be USDA compliant and such, it would be great to have a Lot Number system, or something where we can add our specific number to the grow cycle. I know there’s a notes section, but it would be nice to have something specific to Lots so we can search for it specifically.

Add invoicing abilities
Once we add pricing information to products and orders it would be nice to be able to export order invoices to a nice PDF invoice or export that data to invoicing software to easily create invoices for farm customers.

Maybe add the harvest date to the task table
This would so users can correlate tasks with specific groups of trays. A group of trays for a crop has a specific harvest date to indicate one group from another

Add support for edible flowers and potted plants
Flowers and potted plant items are different from tray-based calculations. It would be nice to support edible flowers and similar items so they can be added to orders and Microgreen Manager can calculate how many items to plant.
