Create Orders and Recurring Orders from Your AI Client

Your AI client, connected to Microgreen Manager through our MCP server, can now create orders and recurring orders for you, and show you exactly what they'll do before anything is saved.

Tell it something like "Corner Cafe wants 2 trays of sunflower and 300 g of pea every Thursday" and the AI can find the customer, crops, and products, then put together the order. Before creating it, the AI runs a preview that shows:

  • Trays for each crop: how many trays the order needs, including any you already have as surplus.

  • When to plant: the day each crop has to start (soak or plant) to be ready in time, and its harvest day.

  • Every task: each step of the grow cycle with its date, just like you'll see it in the app.

  • Anything that's behind: plantings that would already be overdue because the delivery is too soon to grow normally.

For a recurring order, the preview also lists the upcoming delivery dates and marks which orders are created right away, which are created later as their dates come up, and which are too soon to grow in time.

The preview runs the same order logic as the app on your farm's current data, then throws the result away, so what you see is what you get. Change anything you like and preview again, then have the AI create it once it looks right. We recommend always reviewing the preview first, since there is no undo from the AI side.

You get the same choices as the app's new order form:

  • One-off orders: fill the order from surplus trays first or not, create plantings that would already be overdue or leave them out, and log past sales as completed orders with no plantings or tasks.

  • Recurring orders: every week or every few weeks, every week on a chosen day, or a set day each month (like the 2nd Tuesday), with an optional end date, and the choice to create the first deliveries even if they're too soon to grow in time.

If a customer gets deliveries on more than one day a week, the AI creates one recurring order for each day, all for the same customer, so their revenue still adds up in one place.

Orders created this way follow the same rules, permissions, and plan limits as the app. Anyone with permission to edit orders can use this through their connected AI client.
