Add support for edible flowers and potted plants

Flowers and potted plant items are different from tray-based calculations. It would be nice to support edible flowers and similar items so they can be added to orders and Microgreen Manager can calculate how many items to plant.

Color code tasks

Color code tasks in the Tasks page and Dashboard to be of the same color. For example, all tasks labeled "Harvest" would be blue and all the "Plant" tasks would be green. This would make it easier to see how much of a certain task needs to happen in a day/week. Likewise, you could create custom categories of tasks, like "Routine Cleaning" or "Routine Maintenance" to more easily spot those items when they come around and prepare your team to allocate time toward them.

Tray locations and rack numbers

To ensure max organization, it would be great to add a Rack number and location. So if you have more than one location, you can select it and the specific rack the grow is located at.

Add invoicing abilities

Once we add pricing information to products and orders it would be nice to be able to export order invoices to a nice PDF invoice or export that data to invoicing software to easily create invoices for farm customers.

Notifications

Email, text, and push notifications for things like daily tasks. With the ability for a user to select which things they'd like to get notified about, when, and how.

Edit Trays Actually Planted

For some orders the total trays required is an overage like 3.6 trays and the system rightly tells me to plant 4 trays - but if the overage is small like 3.1 trays I’d like to be able to use my judgment and only plant 3 trays (especially if I know there’s a buffer built into that crop). Would it be possible to be able to edit the number of trays actually planted?

Sync calendar with Google Calendar

That way notifications can show on mobile devices.

Ability to add time of day to tasks, esp recurring tasks

It would be great to have the ability to set a time with recurring tasks, for example checking water levels. This would be great for tasks that happen multiple times of the day. Whatever the task may be. Thanks for taking our input.

Create recurring orders/tasks/plantings further out into the future

Right now we only automatically create orders/plantings/tasks from recurring orders, recurring plantings, and recurring tasks 30 days into the future at a minimum. If there are any crops in a recurring order or recurring planting that have a longer grow time then the software will make sure to create those orders/plantings/tasks at least 7 days before the first task needs to take place

Seed lot and seed inventory tracking

Be able to enter seed you are using for which crops. The software can then automatically assign seed lots to your harvests, and update your seed inventory. Then you can easily know exactly which orders/plantings/harvests were given which seed lots and how much seed was used. Easily get a list of all the orders/plantings/harvests/tasks associated with any given seed lot. This is important for recalls and compliance. Get notified when you are running low on seed or when a seed is about to expire and still has inventory.

Translations to other languages (for app, blog, marketing, etc.)

Improve onboarding

We need to improve our onboarding experience so that new and existing users understand how to use the software effectively. This would be popups and tooltips to point users in the right direction for how the software works to represent the farm, how orders/plantings/tasks are generated, where buttons are, etc.

Be able to record and view actual yields

Be able to enter the actual yield for any given group of trays in the farm at harvest time or after harvest. This would allow you to keep track of your actual yield as well as yield per tray. Especially useful for reviewing trends over time. We can surface yield data in the farm report and within in crop’s page to make it easy to review this information. Allows for better seeding and pricing decisions.

Calendar view for tasks and harvests

Everything is currently displayed in the form of tables. But we would like to add a nice calendar view for orders and tasks and harvests so it's easier to visualize your schedule and tasks.

Store more customer info

Not a CRM, but a way to simple manage customer info, like their contact info, notes, delivery info, and all their historical orders over time. This will also make it easier to assign orders to specific customers.

Maybe add the harvest date to the task table

This would so users can correlate tasks with specific groups of trays. A group of trays for a crop has a specific harvest date to indicate one group from another

Ability to skip/modify individual orders on recurring orders/subscriptions

If a customer wants to skip a week or modify just one of their orders but keep the subscription/recurring order the same, then you should be able to do that easily with one click.

Have multiple team members on a farm

Right now Microgreen Manager is just for one account per farm. It's high priority to make it to you can create a farm with your account, and then invite others to make an account and join your farm so they can see tasks/orders, update info, mark tasks as complete, etc. AND see who completed what tasks. And more functionality like that

Print Label From Any Task

Would it be possible to add the ‘Create Label’ option from any of the tasks associated with a particular planting? I usually start from the Dashboard with the associated planting task. However, to print my label I have to add an extra step and go to the planting. I would love to cut the number of clicks in half and simply print from the task, or even better-from the dashboard.

Cloning a Blend

When I choose to clone a Blend and delete one of the items from the clone, it blanks out all the crop names. If I attempt to reselect a crop, the dropdowns are blank. The desired resolution would be to allow deleting the particular crop and leave the others intact.

Planting Data - Show seeds Required

Currently when you add planting the system show the expected production. Please also show how much seeds required to prepare for the planting. Thank you
