Create Crops and Blends from Your AI Client

Your AI client, connected to Microgreen Manager through our MCP server, can now set up crops and blends for you.

Describe how you grow a crop in your own words, such as "soak overnight, plant under weight for three days, blackout for two more, then lights, harvest ten days after planting." The AI can turn that into a crop with the right grow time, steps, yield, shelf life, harvest buffer, and package sizes. It can also create a blend from two or more of your existing crops with the percentage of each.

To help the AI get it right, we gave it a guide to how Microgreen Manager uses each crop field: how grow time and harvest buffer set your planting and harvest dates, how yield and safety margin set tray counts, and how steps become tasks. Grow cycle days are numbered from Day 1, just like in the app. We recommend asking the AI to confirm the crop details with you before it creates anything, since there is no undo from the AI side.

Crops and blends created this way follow the same rules and permissions as the app. Anyone with permission to edit crops and blends can use this through their connected AI client.
