Create recurring orders/tasks/plantings further out into the future

Feature Request

Right now we only automatically create orders/plantings/tasks from recurring orders, recurring plantings, and recurring tasks 30 days into the future at a minimum. If there are any crops in a recurring order or recurring planting that have a longer grow time then the software will make sure to create those orders/plantings/tasks at least 7 days before the first task needs to take place

    Create recurring orders further out into the future

    Would it be possible to show recurring orders for more than three orders into the future? We know the system has to limit how many are shown, but could we increase the number visible to 6 or even 8 instead of 3?

      You can see more orders into the future than just the 2-5 you see under the “Child Orders” section. Child Orders are simply the orders that exist in the system already (meaning their tasks have been created). To see orders further into the future, you can open the dropdown for Upcoming Orders to be Created. If you want to generate them early, you can click the Actions button, and then “Create Order Now.” Does that make sense?

      Hi Dave. Garrett’s comment is correct, this is a good workaround for now, but this is good feedback. We’ll see if we can create future orders sooner in the system 🙂
