Edit Trays Actually Planted

Feature Request

For some orders the total trays required is an overage like 3.6 trays and the system rightly tells me to plant 4 trays - but if the overage is small like 3.1 trays I’d like to be able to use my judgment and only plant 3 trays (especially if I know there’s a buffer built into that crop). Would it be possible to be able to edit the number of trays actually planted?

    Yes! Good question. The way to do this is to go to the planting that you want to edit. A planting represents a group of trays being grown in the farm for a specific crop with a specific harvest date/grow timeline. Then go to the “Options” dropdown and select “Record Lost Trays”. That’s where you can deduct the number of trays for that planting group to match reality. You can uncheck the “Record Incident” toggle, which will deduct trays but won’t keep a record of something happening. This is basically the way to override the system. But you do need to tell the software where to pull the trays from — either from surplus or from the orders that those trays are assigned to.
