Yes, but it’s kind of tricky right now. Go to the order you want to add your planting to. Then go to the Options and edit order contents. You can then add the crop that you have in mind, and it should recognize that you have a planting already in progress for that crop. So that when you make the edit, the system will add trays from that in progress surplus planting to the order.
When you make changes it will show you what it can do with your “surpluses” in real time as you make changes. As you can see here:
Although I just noticed there is a bug in this display which I can fix tomorrow.
Does that make sense? It’s kind of tricky. But we’re working on improving this functionality so that you can more easily operate your farm this way. By creating plantings before creating orders and then assigning those trays to orders as your orders come in :)

I do not see any surpluses list although on the Surplus screen it shows my current panting ins progress. What am I missing in the process?

Are you trying to create a new order or edit an existing order? Unfortunately this only works for editing orders right now. But you could create an order and then edit it as a work-around.
The surpluses have to be available on the same day or after the order date. So depending on the order you are trying to edit you may not see the surpluses as available for that order if they don’t line up based on harvest date and expiration date.
Can you give me more information on the order ID you are trying to modify and the surplus you want to use? That can help me understand and debug the situation :)

I do not specifically plant to an Order but also plant expectation of an order. If I can add and existing planting to a new order received that would be nice. As I can rather divide the complete order into multiple order if I cannot satisfy the complete order with existing plantings, I can divide the full order and satisfy part of an order in advance.
